How to renounce your passport and renounce citizenship

When your passport expires, you’ll have to decide whether you want to renunciation or expatriation.
There are a number of options available, and the process can be complicated and frustrating.

The process for renunciation is when you renounce the right to reside in the country where you were born and is now living.
There’s a number different options for this process.
For example, if you’ve renounced the right of permanent residency in India, you can renounce India’s passport expiring in 2019 and then return to India.
This option will allow you to enter India, but will not allow you access to the Indian government and public services.
You must apply for your new passport expirations, which can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
The renunciation process for expatriates is a little different.
You’ll need to file a declaration that you will renounce all your current and future Indian citizenship.
This declaration can take several months to process.
The best way to expunge your Indian citizenship from your passport is to visit a passport office in your home country.
This will allow your passport to expire at its expiry date.
You can also visit an expatriated country to check that your passport hasn’t expired and is still valid.
You may have to wait for the expiry time to be set.
If you’re a Canadian citizen, the process is very similar.
You simply need to visit an embassy in Canada or Canada’s consulate in your country of residence.
If there is a passport expunction process, you need a new passport and can’t re-enter your country until the expunction time has passed.
