New passport office in Dallas opens to help expats renew passports
Dallas — The passport office at the Dallas airport has opened its doors to help travelers renew their passports.
“We are very excited about this,” said Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings.
According to Rawlings, the office opened last week after a request from the city’s Department of Public Safety and Homeland Security.
The office was in the process of being renovated when a new location was needed.
The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.mi. to 4 p.mi., according to the city.
The new office is located at 511 W. Spring Street in the airport’s main terminal.
A passport is required to enter the country, and expats who do not have one will need to present a copy of their passport to a government official.
